Hello!
My name is Dr. Kseniya Zvereva, I'm a naturopathic doctor with a passion for getting to the root cause of patient's symptoms and helping people live their lives to the fullest. I acquired my degree of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore WA and completed two years of residency, first at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, WA and then at Bastyr University California in San Diego, CA. Given my passion for combining medicine and teaching, both residencies allowed me to engage in one of my favorite naturopathic principles, docere - which is translated to "doctor as teacher", where-in I educate patients about their conditions, thus empowering them to understand and take control of their health.

Education
2024-2025
Residency Year 2
Bastyr University California
(San Diego, CA)
During my second year of residency, I took on an enhanced role in teaching, which involved overseeing student clinicians and teaching my own phlebotomy class. I also supervised our IV clinic shift for nine months, gaining valuable leadership experience in that modality. My primary patient focus during this time centered on gastrointestinal issues, autoimmune disorders, thyroid health, sleep, and stress management. This year I didn't work with insurance companies given the different layout of the profession in California.
2023-2024
Residency Year 1
Bastyr Center for Natural Health
(Seattle, WA)
My first year was heavily focused on primary care visits and an increasing understanding of our (ND) place in the larger medical community. I started to gravitate towards gastrointestinal and autoimmune conditions, given a strong link between the two. Working with insurance companies was a large part of my first year residency experience.
June 2023
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Bastyr University
(Kenmore, WA)
After 4 years of medical school, I was ready to start seeing patients under the supervision of seasoned physicians!
Licensure & Practice Information
I am licensed as a naturopathic doctor in Washington, California, and Minnesota. Because healthcare regulations vary by state, prescription medications are not provided to patients located in California or Minnesota.
Care is always tailored to your location and provided within state guidelines so you can feel confident about the care you receive.
If you have any questions about what services are available to you, please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m happy to help clarify.
What's in a name?
The word xenia (from ancient Greek: ξενία) means “hospitality” or “guest-friendship.” It refers to the deeply rooted Greek cultural value of showing respect, generosity, and kindness to strangers or guests, often as a sacred duty.
In naturopathic medicine, the therapeutic relationship is central. A naturopathic doctor (ND) often invites the patient into a safe, nonjudgmental space—similar to how a host welcomes a guest with dignity and care. Just as xenia honors the humanity of the guest, naturopathic medicine honors and invites to healing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

“Healing begins with understanding...”

What Is the Therapeutic Order?
The Therapeutic Order is a core framework used in naturopathic medicine to guide treatment from the least invasive to the most intensive therapies. It supports a root-cause, whole-person approach by recognizing the body’s natural ability to heal. This model helps naturopathic doctors choose safe, effective, and evidence-informed steps for restoring long-term health.
How It Guides Naturopathic Care
-
Address the root cause by identifying obstacles to health and strengthening foundational wellness.
-
Support and stimulate the body’s self-healing mechanisms, using natural therapies whenever possible.
-
Use higher-force medical interventions only when necessary, ensuring a thoughtful, stepwise, and patient-centered approach.
This framework keeps care safe, strategic, and aligned with holistic healing principles, allowing patients to experience sustainable improvement rather than temporary symptom relief.
A naturopathic roadmap from least-force to most-intensive care.
“... and Ends where Marks THe SPot”
Naturopathic Model “The Restoration of Health”
Basic Assumptions
1. Nature is ordered, intelligent, wise, and benign.
2. Health is the constant and natural state of being
3. Ill health is an adaptive response to disturbance in the organism
4. Removal of disturbing factors will result in the potential return of normal health
5. Intervention should involve the least force necessary to stimulate the self-healing mechanisms
